Florida; Why Blame Christians? …moral inversion

Let me get this straight.

A noted Orlando, Florida Imam publicly calls for the execution of homosexuals. All Muslim Mosques preach out of a book that calls for the murder of infidels, (including homosexuals), and in the years since 9-11, the West has experienced more than 25,000 major murderous attacks upon it, in the name of Allah.

Furthermore, ISIS(The ISLAMIC STATE of Iraq and Syria) has threatened to commit mass murder in Florida in the past week.(Do you see where I am going here? “ISLAMIC…”)

Last night,  an Orlando Muslim goes into a gay bar in Orlando Florida, and opened up with a semi-automatic assault rifle killing more than fifty people. He is Muslim(Who knew?), a son of Afghan Immigrants who had twice been investigated by the FBI, without consequence, and who had been reported at the place of his work for “unhinged and erratic behavior”, but it was ignored out of fear of someone being accused of racism,( as had the Fort Hood Shooter).

The bodies haven’t even been prepared for burial yet, but our fearless leader Obama, has already trotted out an Islamic Imam to lecture America not to jump to conclusions about the “religion of peace”.

Who do many in the public look to blame?

Christians of course! Makes perfect sense doesn’t it? Within the last hour I have seen four or five articles accusing Christians of everything from gloating over the bodies of deceased homosexuals,  to The ACLU accusing Christians of fostering a hate environment that caused this mass murder.

From the first article, the author connects the Bible Belt and some Christians with every time he hears of another “vicious crime against a group of LGBT people”.

“Every time a vicious crime is committed against a group of LGBT people or a natural disaster befalls a Gay Pride event, my ears are pained by senseless explanations offered by religious yet graceless voices. Most Christians mourn and weep over these tragedies, but I always hear a few Bible Belt dwellers claiming “the heathen” got what they deserved—that God smote the sodomites as they reveled in their sins. They recall biblical stories like Sodom and Gomorrah and almost excitedly proclaim that God is “still in the business of judging rebels!” There is no doubt in my mind that there are religious yet gospel-ignorant men and women sitting in their church pews as I write this article, feeling tempted to utter such insensitivities in the wake of the Orlando gay club shooting.”

What a strange reaction, bordering on the bizarre, that Christians, who had nothing to do with these murders, and who would never preach murder, and whose LORD would never countenance these murders, are almost immediately castigated as if either they contributed to them, or rejoiced in them. Doesn’t that smack of Satanic influence to you?

Is this the length that society is prepared to go to to avoid facing the reality that Muslims are simply unfit to live in a modern civilized society? In what world would Christians have anything to do with it. This is ominous, because it smacks of Nero burning Rome, then blaming Christians for it.The Whole society knew Nero did it, but they went along with the persecution which followed because they didn’t like Christians anyway.

Well you may not like us, but if you are honest you would have to admit, Christians don’t mass murder nor do they rejoice when Muslims do mass murder. All true Christians find this mass murder utterly appalling and take no joy in the slaughter of anyone.

So what in the world possesses people (no pun intended) to chose this occasion to chastise Christians, as if we need to be reminded not to rejoice in this appalling event!

Call me old fashioned, but in a time of yet another Muslim mass murder,Wouldn’t it make more sense to chide, Oh I don’t know, maybe…Muslims? Just saying.

I think this knee jerk reaction is an example of something the Bible warned about would come upon the world in the latter days, called “The Delusion”, which will soon grip all of the world, damning those who “Receive not the Love of the Truth…”

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?  And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.(2 Thess 2:3-12)

It reminds me of a little exchange I had in an American Post office in the days after 9-11-2001. At the counter I ordered a book of self sticking stamps. They asked me what pattern I wanted, and I told them, “Anything but the One with the Islamic writing on it”. You would thing I belched in church or something, the way everyone in that little Post office reacted. Almost immediately at the counter, the Postal employee barked at me, “Christians do as much violence as Moslems do you know!” I was struck by the immediate rage, the knee jerk reaction, and the instant canned answer which is patently false, and shouted at me on the day after Muslims slaughtered three thousand fellow citizens in cold blood in New York City.

Then I realized, that our culture has brainwashed and conditioned people to think in Anti-Christ terms, and that given the situation, people will turn in ferocity on the innocent rather than allow themselves to condemn the obviously guilty. Such is the power of our current delusion.

Maranatha Lord!

I think that bible believing Christians will soon not be called Christians anymore but something else like fundamentalists. We will be out in the same class with radical jihadists or fundamental islamists. Then the progressive Muslims and the progressive Christians will be apart of the humanistic world religion. Remember how some joined the Maccabees in hypocrisy?

  2. Stephanie Hinojosa says:

I guess what I mean by the Maccabees is that some Muslims may stand against the one world humanist religion just as the remnant will. We may get grouped together with them and anyone else who rebels against the Antichrist/spirit of antichrist in the eyes of the world. It’s hard to word this. Anyway, love the post and I started reading the comments of liberal articles about the Orlando shooting and many were about Christians hating lgbt people and about Christians being happy about this. Some even said that “right wing Christians are a danger to others”. Persecution is coming sooner than we think.

I tend to agree with you in this Stephanie…we are being re-branded

Good one Pastor Bill…! We have an extremely sad society today that with out a doubt has been lead by anti-christ rhetoric for decades preaching “political correctness,” which distorts the truth from every angle.

Adolf Hitler in his book Mien Kampf elaborated on the theory regarding the big lie; “that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie,”.

This is exactly what Satan and his disciple’s are doing today, flooding the air with his distortions.

However, Jesus the Christ warned us of these actions because of our love for Him and His name sake. This is why we as Believer’s must be steadfast in our faith during these tribulations today, never wavering.

Keep the Faith.! In Christ Shalom Jeff Churchill

  11. I have rebranded myself as a “Born Again Believer”. When they ask in what, they get the Gospel starting in John Chapter 3.

  12. Matthew Ford says:

When talking to someone the other day, I mentioned that the government or kingdom of darkness needed to start putting blame on the Christians. I even mentioned the whole Nero thing – great point. First let me say, that I believe God does not take pleasure in the destruction of sinners. He sent his only begotten Son to die for them as well. As followers of Jesus Christ we must have the same heart for the lost. I urge everyone reading this to go out and talk to people about the Lord Jesus while you are still free to do so.

The incident in FL, serves the greater purpose coming to this nation and world. Mainly to build hatred for Christians and guns and sympathy for those in sin. I am not a proponent of guns for me, I am a proponent for fleeing sin and living under the cover of our great and mighty God.

And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 23

  13. “Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his way and live? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore, turn yourselves, and live ye.”–Ezek. 18:23, 32.
“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways, for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”–Ezek. 33:11.

But they will not. And the faster the Muslim Obama goes the better because it’s not always true the saying “better the Devil you know.”
We will never know Him just what the bible tells us about him, ” Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made “

  14. Excellent article. However, please don’t call the man’s weapon an “assault rifle” — that term was invented for gun-control freaks. It was just a rifle.

  15. Howard McNeill says:

    You nailed it Bill.

  16. R.E.A.D.Y. says:

The shooter did not have an assault rifle. It makes a HUGE difference in the narrative. The enemy is slick and dangerous.

  18. Yes, this has that “Reichtag Fire” label all over it, just like the Nero fires. Orlando is their script to use to turn society against Christians.
They orchestrated it. Then they blame us. It’s all part of the narrative. I knew this was coming. I have been warning that persecution is coming to the church in America for some time now. (The Spirit will show us what is to come-see gospel of John.) And then it came. And now they are focusing the crosshairs on us. It’s all in the PC speak.
They have all the goads in place and are ready to use them. The parallels to the nazi tactics are astounding. Look how well the population was silenced, even when they knew of the death camps. It will go the same way. Please, plan accordingly. Yes, the rapture is coming. But it may not come in time for you to never have to suffer for the faith, so be prepared. True Christians died in the holocaust too, but it is never mentioned.
What changes for us otherwise? Nothing.

I am a Christian. A bible believing Christian. I know that homosexuality is a sin. I will exercise my right to voice that belief and express myself, as do they. I will not comply with any pro-lgbt activities, ceremonies, etc. I will not “bake their cakes,” or anything else like that. I will live, act, and speak according to my biblical convictions. So for me, nothing has changed. The only thing that has changed is the environment around me, what changes is the outcome where persecution follows where it once did not. The lack thereof was the exception, not the norm. We are promised persecution and discipled to expect it. So do not gape in awe when it actually arrives.

Few were there who stood up in nazi Germany. Few and not many. It is always few. All those ‘Osteen crowds’ disappear like roaches in the kitchen when the light gets turned on, they scramble for cover. They had their own kingdoms to be concerned with, their own affairs, after all. They never really counted the cost. And in the moment of truth, it shows. Are you ready?
Let me remind you of what Christ said in Matthew 10; 32-33. He said that those who confess Him before men, He will confess before the Father. But those who deny Him before men, He will deny before the Father. Throw out all your security blankets of ‘eternal security,’ and so on. The Bible states that homosexuality is a sin (Romans 1; 26-27, 1 Cor. 6; 9-10, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, and a few other places albeit one suffices). Jesus has the same view since that is God’s Word. To cave and cower on this issue is to deny Jesus. That line is drawn right where it is because the devil knows too that it is a division line between those who confess Jesus and those who do not. So often, the accounts of persecution against Christians came with this small print: “just deny Jesus, and we’ll let you go.” Because, that confession is what keeps us in (see verse above again; Matt. 10; 32-33) or out.

On a somewhat lighter note, I do recall a joke I heard from a pastor long ago as follows:
When Christians were persecuted in the USSR, they had underground churches. Well, there was an underground church meeting and suddenly a Russian general stormed into the meeting. Everyone gasped. He stoutly asked if there were any Christians in the room. Well, people fled off in every direction and in the end, few were left. After the place got cleaned out, about 5 brave souls sat on a few chairs that were out. One meekly asked the general if he wished to attend the meeting. He again gruffly asked if they were Christians. They all said yes.
“Good! He replied. Now the real church meeting can begin! Pass me a bible!”
Well, it’s sorta like that. Only in the real, real end, it will be the Lord meeting us.
“Well done….” I can’t give that up for anything this world has to offer! I hope you can’t either.

    God bless!
