I can’t find it, pastor. Maybe the link is bad?

  2. I liked what I read. I think this book was written before the present leader of Egypt, al a Sisi, came to power after Morsi was dethroned. I know that our president doesn’t recognize al a Sisi as the legitimate ruler, and would do anything he can to put another Muslim Brotherhood leader back in power. However, the rest of what I read was very good. I love history and I love prophecy. My husband, another friend and myself are presently completing a Kay Arthur Inductive study on Daniel, and then we’ve been listening to your Youtube messages and Jacob Prasch’s. Before we teach this we want to prepare to answer questions that we know will come up during the study, so we are taking notes to add to the Inductive study for answers and further clarification. I will be purchasing the book!

You are right about Al Sisi, those current facts are reflected in the updated version of Sword which is just coming out this week. If you have already sent for the book, I would gladly send a comp copy of the Revision, if you just send me (via e-mail) your address- God bless you sister- BTW I have a series on Daniel on my website-Believersingrace.com

I was on Amazon, and I noticed that you have a 2013 Verson and a 2016 version. What is the difference between the 2 versions of your book? I ask because only the 2013 version would allow me to lend it to my daughters to read.
    God Bless,

sorry for the delay, I was on vacation. The 2016 book is a revision, I basically updated the earlier book, but already need to do so again, Maranatha!

    Pastor Bill,
I have read A Sword On the Land, and enjoyed it immensely. I’m not sure which version it is because it is in storage. I am. I do have a question though, And was wondering if you can maybe help me. Our ladies Bible study has been going through the book of Revelation, we are listening to the podcast of our pastor, while also listening to commentary by Ray Steadman, In certain scripture they both contradict one another. So my thoughts are goodness who am I to trust. I was wondering if there is any online commentary that you trust, that you can point me to where do you have some thing that I can use that is on mine. I say online only because I would like to have something quick for the chapter we are in, which is chapter 9.
    Thank you,

Want a fast reference? I have found the “Footsteps of the Messiah” to be a helpful commentary on Revelation. It is by Arnold Fruchtenbaum. I would get it if I were you and consult it. Having said all of that, “who do you trust?” when it cpmes to interpretting the Revelation, equally trustwrthy people hav differing interpretations of some of the visions of this book, so what you want to know is, is the interpretation futuristic? Historical? or Preteristic? Prsonally I believe that the futuristic interpretation is the best. Also do they believe in the significance of the reborn State of Israel? if not, throw it out, there is no way to understand Revelation without seeing Israel as part of God’s program. Hope this helps sister, Pas Bill
