A Wonderful And Awful Clarity… Israel’s Future pt 9

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war… And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.(Revelation 19:11,19)

One of the beautiful things about living in these turbulent last days, is the wonderful clarity that current events reveal. Evil at the highest levels has usually tried to hide behind a facade of benevolence if not righteousness, at least in the formerly Judeo Christian Western world.

Thus western politicians in the past have pretended to be Christians , or virtuous, or at least to respect the Holy, good and true.  They have always justified themselves and their actions as being “for the people”, or for “the children”, or on behalf of some oppressed  group, “women or minorities”.

But here in Revelation 19, we see with remarkable clarity, that the “Kings of the Earth” and their armies, though seemingly siding with the good and true, step out of the shadows and openly side with “the Beast” . They range themselves directly against the Lamb of God. This is what most have been doing all along but in the end all pretense is dropped and we finally see who is who!

This expression “Kings of the Earth and their Rulers” goes far beyond the political or government leaders. Educators, Intellectuals, Pundits , Entertainers also and other media and cultural opinion makers also usually take pains to give the appearance of being conscientious and compassionate, ever on the side of the underdog and interested in truth.

But recent events, particularly in the Gaza of Israel have polarized the world, bringing out into the open the true nature of many of these celebrity “do gooders”.

In both the war in Gaza and in the emergence of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant(ISIL), Evil is now on full display, and thanks to modern technology, the whole world is an unavoidable witness to it. No one can deny that they know what is going on, and not even the carefully crafted propaganda which once fooled so many masses of people, can cover up the current expose of full frontal EVIL in all of its naked deformity.

There is first of all,  the spectacle of  the Hamas controlled State of Gaza, raining thousands of Rockets indiscriminately upon the cities and towns of Israel for years, and hiding behind its own women and children, using them as human shields to prevent the counter attacks of the Jewish military. The fact that this reprehensible tactic even works is testament to the compassion of Israel even for the children of her enemies.

Terrorists are transported to battle in ambulances, rocket firings are staged from hospitals, schools and residential areas. Israel actually warns those in areas she intends to bomb, giving civilians a chance to flee. There are numerous reports coming out that Hamas is holding Gazans captive, using their own population as human shields..

Can there be any clearer contrast?

On the one hand, the State of Israel waging war humanely, even towards avowed enemies, than treating the wounded and maimed in hastily constructed field hospitals not far from the front. Pleading daily with the civilian Arab (hostage) population to flee from the war zone lest they be hurt.

On the other hand the world sees Hamas shelling and rocketing cities of Israel with impunity, then playing the victim when Israel responds. It doesn’t take a genius to see that there isn’t even a shred of moral equivalency. Clearly Israel is on the side of civilization and Hamas sides with savagery.

But the streets of formerly civilized places such as Rome, Paris,London, and Chicago are filling up with ever growing crowds of protestors. These are angry, anti-Semitic crowds, menacing onlookers, assaulting any one who looks Jewish, and calling for the extermination of Israel, death to the west and solidarity with the Palestinians!

Yes, thats right, millions around the world, are lining up to show their unqualified support for a people who literally shoot from behind their own children, Kidnap and murder other people’s children and then pass out sweets and celebrate when such acts of appalling degeneracy are committed.

This is  as surreal as the time Yasser Arafat, the father of modern, ruthless, terrorism and mayhem…recieved the Nobel prize for peace! So many “do gooders” began wearing the Palestinian Kafeyah in solidarity with the blood thirsty, perverted monster. It became a sign of what? Chic-ness? Being part of the avant garde?

In a similar fashion many young people sport t-shirts with a romantic picture of Che Guevarro, the cowardly executioner and mass murderering Communist.

Some of these recent demonstrations ominously include marchers carrying the black flag of ISIL, the Sunni Terror army, bulked up and steroided with Western armaments and training. One of ISIS’s recently released leaders , told his former US military jailer,”I will see you in New York”.

Does it not bother the ‘enlightened’ western throngs that they are marching in solidarity with people recently known for and even boasting of capturing little children, beheading some of them, sawing others in half, and marrying away little girls as young as 9 to hardened and depraved sub human Jihadis, as prizes of war?

Not even the most ‘progressive’ liberal westerner can evade the raw ugliness of the evil on display these days. There are ISIS propaganda pictures of the lines of captured Iraqi soldiers, marching in bent submission, being kicked and beaten by their ISIS captors, then lined up and shot.

ISIS has also released self congratulating pictures of captured Christian women  under the gunpoint and glare of  Burqaed ISIS women, and covered by other ‘brave Islamic warriors’ holding assault rifles on the defenseless women  as they are led away in a line, tied together by the hand, off to be sold into sexual slavery and unimaginable horrors.

This is Islam and these are the real Muslims. ISlam, thy name is EVIL!!!

This should be simple for anyone with a functioning human conscience; Christianity is believing in and acting like Jesus. Islam is believing in and acting like Mohammed. These are the ones who are acting like Mohammed. How could any civilized person stand in solidarity of any kind with them?

This has to be a demonstration of spiritual blindness. Certainly moral blindness comes into play here. Could this moral confusion be the judgment that has come upon us for abortion? Or for trying to maintain the morally dissonant acceptance of gay marriage? Has the world become reprobate and no longer can distinguish right from wrong?

MSNBC, CNN, Fox, the BBC, ABC, and CBS, all so called champions of womens rights and political correctness, and who eagerly repeated the left’s charge recently that the conservatives are waging a “war on women” because we aren’t willing to be forced to pay for any harlot’s birth control, have little or nothing to say about this real “War on women”.

My friend and brother Mark in South Africa posted this lament of the lopsided media coverage of the war in Gaza, by a member of the media in the UK,

“Western TV screens never show Hamas – not a gunman, or a rocket launched at Tel Aviv, not a fighter shelling a nearby kibbutz. In these past few weeks, it has seemed as if Israel’s F-16s and Merkava tanks and 155mm artillery have been fighting only wailing mothers, mangled children, run-down concrete slums.”

Do we not live in the day of the Lie? This is (seemingly) their hour and the power of darkness.

But the true and Living God sees and is taking names.

The clarity I speak of is remarkable, it is almost as though the time for pretence is over and multitudes are openly siding with evil and showing utter hatred and contempt for good.

Perhaps we have come to the day that Jesus warned us of…

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.(Luke 21:34-36)
