To Him Who has Ears To Hear…Mystery Babylon pt 2

Thank you for your kind words. Once again, following a tradition by which I feel honored, the Secretary General of the United Nations has invited the Pope to address this distinguished assembly of nations. In my own name, and that of the entire Catholic community, I wish to express to you, Mr Ban Ki-moon, my heartfelt gratitude…Address of …Pope Francis to The General Assembly of the United Nations

Did you catch that?

The Pope, is one of the Gentile Kings of the Earth, having episcopal authority over the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics, and claiming to be the vicar of Christ on earth. He has awarded the “Angel of Peace” Medallion to Mahmoud Abbas, the planner of the 1972 Munich Olympic massacre of the Israeli Olympic delegation. Abbas has recently stated that “We welcome every drop of blood shed in Jerusalem…”, in an attempt to further incite violence against Jewish worshippers in their fall Feasts.

The Pope says He comes to the U.N. in “His own name…”.Not in the name of Jesus or in the name of the Father, but in His own name. As in his address to Congress, the “vicar of Christ” never mentioned Jesus by name to the U.N., although he did refer to the Creator, and the “Most High”, he never mentioned Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Is that not odd? Can we imagine Peter or Paul addressing the world congress and never mentioning Jesus?

Jesus once warned Israel,

I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.( John 5:43)

This is a warning about the Anti-Christ. Jesus is saying that He came to Israel, , “in the Father’s name”, i.e. fulfilling all of the requirements in scripture for the recognition of the Messiah, citing the prophecies, doing all of the works, and speaking the Word of the Father and not his own, (humanly speaking).

But all of that didn’t suffice, the leaders of Israel proved that they didn’t really love God or believe in Him, because when He came to them in Jesus, they rejected him.

But Jesus warned that one day  “Another will come in His own name…”, and that they would receive him.

I find it significant that this Pope came to the UN in his own name, and not in the name of God.

There was no other name the Pope KNEW in truth I think because his god is his flesh

You nailed it with the quote of that verse

It is so sad that people do not realize the things that scripture shines the light on in our day and time

Study of scripture makes watching the news so much more interesting even knowing the way it is managed and utilized to influence those who “do not like to retain God in their knowledge”

Thanks again for sharing those things that come to mind as you observe things going on
I find it so interesting how the body of believers works to bring pieces of understanding of the prophesies we read in scripture in ageement and with some additional perspectives…..that is among believers who actually do continue in study of the Word and are concerned to turn their attention to how the Holy Spirit guides understanding of all things true in scripture.

I find myself a bit let down when sharing something among some believers which scripture speaks of clearly and they don’t seem to have any ideas to offer or seem to have had any interest in some of what I have been led to see as rather urgent and important for us to know …via “continuing in my word that ye may be my disciples indeed”

It’s a bit sad and frustrating seeking out like minded believers not necessarily that might know “everything” but simply read scripture and see he importance of it “daily”

It seems many feel listening to a sermon once a week or reading some popular book on the ” broad way” is sufficient
This is not just sad but dangerous as it is likened to me of someone watching someone else eat and going away thinking they have “eaten”….starvation could easily set in

So lack of diligent concern to obey the words of Jesus to consume and digest “daily bread” leaves a lot of believers vulnerable to deception

May we remember to pray that those who have claimed Him as saviour wake up to the basics to continue in the Word laying down the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Jesus Christ the chief cornerstone

I so enjoy your sharing …it can be a good appetizer for those hungering and thirsting to feed more and more searching out all things more and more🍞🍷
