To My Dear Friend…

My brother and friend,

..you came along at just the right time, for me and for the wider Pentecostal and Charismatic church. This was at a time when the so called Toronto Blessing was raging, destroying the churches, making a  Mockery of Pastors and congregations, inducing formerly committed Christians into states of “spiritual drunkenness”, trances, irrational laughter and behaviour.

Even some of the more “solid “ ministries sold out to it, and gave their pulpits and congregations over to charlatons, hypocrites and absolute buffooons.

God has used you my friend, you took them on and exposed their buffoonery, salvaging countless Christians from false churches and starting new works all over the world.

We Had never seen or heard anything like you …  your boldness  the amazing exposition of scripture, your fearless confrontation of religious politicians, hirelings and theocrats. You have been a wrecking ball against the Devil,s work… We gained completely new insights into the Torah and are richer for it.

Everyone has flaws, and  that doesn’t prevent the Lord from using us.

Dear friend you have been so strong and right on in defense of the truth, but you are reckless when you get into a fight and prone to saying things which are way over the top,and you just aren’t careful enough to be precise in accusation.

We tried to help you brother, but you don’t listen. You go into “war footing” and just let loose with your vitriol and invective and needlessly alienate people who could have been won over.

I wonder what is going to happen brother…

You can’t just keep losing your temper and calling people hurtful names such as “Ahab” and “Jezebel” and even “AntiChrist”. I find it curious that women in particular have been the brunt of your fury.

Please my friend there are still quite a few people who love and appreciate you, but who cannot stand by as you act this way. No decent person can abide it, few want to be associated with this fault.

Brother, you have to repent. Agree with your adversary quickly, while on the way with him….(or her) .

You don,t have to repent of your stand for truth, but please repent of the lack of love, the harshness…brother in love I beseech you, as one who has gained so much through you, and as one who has gone into many trenches with you, think of how glorifying to God should you just give in and repent…

You still have a lot to offer my brother,  your longtime freind…pas bill

  1. Amen Bill. God bless you.

  2. Trevor Pavy says:

I know that you have not provided the name of the person this is written to but I am certain that I know who it is & I fully agree with you Bill.
I’ve actually stopped listening to him for the last month or so as & that saddens me as he is so knowledgeable. I read his book on the timing of the rapture & I agree with him but sadly the last few months he has been unbearable.

I Hope, Pray & Trust your letter has the desired outcome & he doesn’t now turn on you.

    God Bless

    Trevor Pavy

  3. standingfirm says:

Wow! beautifully written in Christian love and concern. May the Lord bless us all with tender hearts when the truth needs to be spoken like this. I wish everyone a very blessed Christmas season as we wait for our King.
    MARANATHA!!!!

  4. kim segar says:

I thank you also. there is so much apostasy going around and how some of the people, even family who no one would have believed they would fall for false teaching is terrible. the bible says, not to just listen to one pulpit only, but to stay in the word and take G-d at His Word. The Torah is so awesome, and I find the New Test is concealed in the Old T and the O TEST reveals the New T. and we know G-d is the same yesterday today and forever. All we can do like your are is to tell them the truth and love them into or back to the Truth and that is our number one Job for our precious L-rd. Thank you Bill and G-d Bless YOU.

  5. April says:

    Hello Pastor
I find both of you amazing teachers and I found your ministry through his. I do not know the people he was referring to so thank you for your previous message to update us. He is very passionate when he speaks and does get excited, but I personally love that about him. I am also a very blunt person and have sometimes insulted people without my knowledge. I really hope that this is mended between the ministries because I love you both and consider you both my Pastor. Pastor, I need to tell you that the LORD has blessed you in so many ways that I can see the Holy Spirit in you sometimes when you speak.

  6. Mi Salvacion says:

Bill, this letter should have been given privately, not publicly! First you side with your “friends” instead of standing on His Word and now this!!

    • David says:

Bill is not addressing a private issue, he is addressing a very public one. He is therefore quite correct biblically. Jacob Prasch (correctly) does exactly the same thing in many of his public messages.

    • Trevor Pavy says:

Mi, You must have missed this part of Pastor Bill’s letter “We tried to help you brother, but you don’t listen. You go into “war footing” and just let loose with your vitriol and invective and needlessly alienate people who could have been won over.”…………………………………… In other words, the issue has been dealt with privately but unfortunately the recipient has been unwilling to listen. Sadly this means that as this whole issue has been played out publicly by those concerned & the error has been attempted to be dealt with privately without success, it now MUST be dealt with publicly. Pastor Bill has done exactly what scripture tells us to do in this matter & I can only hope & pray that going public has the desired outcome & the recipient (we know who it is) does repent as Pastor Bill & most of us would hope. I’d hate to see this mans ministry collapse but it is headed that way in a hurry if he doesn’t repent.

    This is sad days.😢

  8. ANONYMOUS says:

Thank you for caring about him and calling him to repent of this. That is the true heart of Christ to a fallen brother.

    • Dave says:

Hm, be careful not to be standing in judgement, or to be fuelling an emotional comprehension of reality. We all must remember there is likely to be planks in each of our eyes! Brotherly or agape, choose the agenda your following, ensure your motives are right, God knows our hearts and the motives of our thoughts! Seek His will in all things, realising we are all fallen without Christ! But to determine another’s position and position in Christ is way beyond your comprehension, only God is judge. Beware of your own capacity to deceive and to be deceived.

    • ANONYMOUS says:

I stand by what I said.

      • Dave says:

God bless you, but we need to be praying for these leaders, these men who have been called out to feed and tend His flock! We must be careful not to be in the very character you are criticising. That is hypocrisy. We all need to live repentant lives, cross carrying, Christ focussed lives, I’m certainly not perfect, I’m a sinner being saved. Coram Deo

    • ANONYMOUS says:

I think you have misunderstood my post. I am pleased and grateful that Pastor Bill is caring about Jacob Prasch in the way he is. I’ve read extensively “out there” and most would have him consigned to hell already. Pastor Bill wants to see him repent of anything that needs repented of and to be restored. I believe that is Christs heart in action and I am encouraged to see it. I’m not meaning to be judgemental in any way. Just grateful for some grace in the situation (which I acknowledge is in need of being dispensed on both sides).

      • Rosemary Valler says:

Why are you naming using the name of the person you think this applies to.
Pastor Bill never named or put a name. This person I don’t care if we can guess this should have been delt with between the two men not all of us

      • A. says:

Why are you naming and trying to cheapen a beautiful request

    • ANONYMOUS says:

      Nobody is cheapening anything.

  9. Yvette says:

    Colossians 3:12
Clothe yourselves therefore, as God’s own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified and holy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by] tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper]. 13Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive].

(The words by a teacher may be completely accurate; however, a firm and gentle delivery is necessary for those who have a history of being verbally battered or is spiritually vulnerable.)

  10. Dave says:

We are all sojourners, everyone, heading down a path of righteousness or destruction. But to determine the position and condition of any other as being lost or fallen is judgement and the internet suggests (to me), that you have determined the finality of Christ’s love and willingness to redeem! As we age, we experience illness, pain, loss, discomfort et etc…. when a child of God stands truth in the strength of Christ, this is not for any other than God to judge. We must be careful and mindful of the battle ground, we must also where any sister or brother is under pressure (which through compassion we should be able to comprehend) and further down the road than many others seek to humbly help and support those who are being attacked, and seek not to fuel or engage in a platform that will ultimately feed that pressure and possible suffering. We must remember we are fallen without Christ, we are within fallen bodies and can ourselves become sacummed to the spirit of this age. We all have the potential to have planks of wood in our own eyes, even to become planks of wood in the eyes of others! This public forum of ridicule or at least that fuel ridicule needs to stop, face to face dialogue is respectful and wise, healing and actual loving kindness may remove any calcifing pain to the hearts of children of God. Make right paths with the one you (we) share the same Spirit with. Remembering the exposition of truth via a calling through evangelism and doctrinal teaching is a gift of grace to the body in the grace of God. Pastoral care is also a gift of grace through the giver, so please be mindful of what we are filtering our views through where the accusations are that a person has no love, look within ones self, asking Jesus to search our hearts first. We are all different parts with different purposes. The one being analysed should be spoken with, loved without humanistic judgement and protected from ridicule and harm, just as any pastoral stance should be manifested within the body. Pray and love each one individually, just as God does for us. If that’s a problem or we find our motives are not in concert with that of God’s nature, that should highlight the potential we all have to behave in the character of the flesh. Pray for each other, and speak about problems etc face to face, the worlds platforms separates us from the Holy kiss and enables confusion and miss understanding due to a one dimensional expression of emotion.

  11. claudi2509 says:

Dear Jacob. I love you very much and you have blessed me so much in all the years with your teachings. I can’t even express my gratitude. I thank God for you with all my heart. That is why it has broken me up to see you so angry. I just want you to know you are loved by many and we don’t want anything bad for you because you are a very important part of the body of Christ. Please know that we love you and I hope and pray you will come to a point of reconcilliation with David and bring back peace and humility and love for one another to the body of Christ. Your sister in Christ.

    • Joelle says:

I love the ministry of reconciliation, a ministry of spirit and truth is what we should be encouraging and what I plead for. Brethren I urge you to reason together and win one another over with love, patience, humility, gentleness, forgiveness. This year has been hard for many to witness, my prayers go out to everyone that they would be restored to spirit and truth and keep running the race for Jesus.

    • Libby says:

I feel the same way about Pastor Jacob. You are a spiritual lifeline for me amongst the raging apostasy and buffoonery. You are a very important part of the Body of Christ. We need you Let God refine that sharp sword you are gifted with and come out swinging against the kingdom of darkness.

  12. Dave says:

In the UK General Pratitioners (GP) are the gateways to the wider NHS for patients. However, much of the public are not aware of the fact GP’s are in business for themselves and are contracted to the NHS through a strategic commissioning model. The fruit of this approach has resulted in many GP’s having a focus on their business model, above the needs of their patients. There are many GP’s who have a right attitude towards patient care, but others see profit and loss. An example, a child was horrifically abused by his parents, the GP was aware but failed to act to protect the vulnerable child who could not protect himself, this child died. The GP was found to have some responsibility, but he was not struck off because of the politics of the matter (world). The British med journal published guidance to GP’s that provide a rationale as to why the case of this child’s abuse was not applicable to the GP Business model and advice was given as to how to avoid any engagement with such abuse cases. The world still sacrifices children to the spirit of this world.
My point, the business of Christianity opens each of us in the body to the traps of the enemy and worse still the erosion of the Lords reputation. Loving your brother requires face to face discussion, the breaking of bread, reasoning together for the sake Christ Jesus and His flock leaders have responsibility for. Yes, correction is biblical, but should be undertaken biblically, not legalistically but in love and compassion. Healing may be required, this brother may need help, practical and certainly like all of us in need of prayer. We are commanded not to be deceived, in no way is in my opinion and in my heart do I recon or would dare to judge, the brother or sister the subject of this blog, to be a ravenous wolf. Yes, a brother or sister who requires prayer and practice engagement. Yes, there has been a sense of ‘oh’ when comments are published, but we are not in the individuals shoes. Let us wrap him or her in prayer and allow other leaders/brothers in Christ meet and break bread with him or her and seek peace through His Spirit and our wisdom and strength. Our efforts only produce burning flax, and irritated eyes. The subject of this blog has health issues, has recently lost a mother etc… like all of us suffering can bring other implications that can impede their homeostasis and wellbeing. Compassion, love and the character of Christ through His Spirit is required within all of us. Forgive me for going on, I don’t mean to offend, I have the sense of sadness surrounding this matter and it’s ongoing harm since Mr Nathan’s apparent dialogue of respect for his brothers and sisters in Christ.

  13. Lyn Doyle says:

Dear Bill, I greatly appreciate the rational and loving way you’re attempting to deal with this sad situation. I’m praying for the dear brother concerned. Bless you. May you continue, while faithfully upholding the truth of God’s word, to be loving in your ministry. It can be a hard balance to maintain.

  14. Veronica May says:

Thank you Pastor Bill for speaking for so many of us who have listened to and learned from so much incredible teaching for many a year, and whose hearts have been broken as they have witnessed the things that have taken place in the past few weeks. There is no place for pride in any of our hearts, just repentance in dust and ashes and calling upon the mercy of Almighty God. May God bless you abundantly with his presence and great Wisdom. In Christ and only for His Glory.

  15. Rosemary Valler says:

How very sad that a private letter should be posted for all to see. This should have been done between you brother and not included us hope you two can get together PRIVATELY.

  16. Richard Lockwood says:

May the Lord Bless you richly Bill, all I can say is Amen to most of the comments here, we love you brothher.

  17. midrashcreed says:

Unfortunately, the brother concerned has a long track record of abuse Around two decades ago he accused me of plagiarism and when I warned about ‘speaking the truth in hate,’ he returned my letter. torn to shreds I also stated that whilst he displayed the mind of a Harvard professor, he had the temper of a New York gang leader. Sadly, this observation has become increasingly true over the years. There were no doctrinal differences between us as he reluctantly admitted. This is a pity because much of his Bible teaching is still of outstanding quality. I think the lesson to be absorbed from this sorry business is that all being right on some issues, it doesn’t make you right on EVERY issue. On such matters you need to ask firstly, is this issue serious enough to be a cause of public concern and secondly, am I the right person to address this issue. In the Christian life, it’s vital to know what battles we’re called to fight and which ones we are called to avoid. Get it wrong on this matter and you’re a loose cannon firing shots in all directions. At worst you end-up being an embarrassing Christian version of Donald Trump enough said! Knowing the man as I do, I believe there’s no hope of any private resolution. Many have tried and come away bruised. Bill is just the last in a long line of would-be helpers.

  18. Greg J says:

The God of Israel we serve is the God of truth and peace. He has given to us… the ministry of reconciliation.

16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates.

19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. James 5

14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12

14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: 15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Hebrews 12

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5

3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain… 16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: 17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD. Zechariah 8

‘The subject of this blog has health issues, has recently lost a mother etc… like all of us suffering can bring other implications that can impede their homeostasis and well-being.’

I too have recently lost my mother and attended her funeral only last Tuesday. Yes, grief can have a distorting effect on our behaviour (although with me its inspired poetry.) Unfortunately, as I pointed out earlier, the subject of Bill’s letter has a long track record of such behaviour going back decades. His accusation of plagiarism could have ruined me professionally, I could have sued him for it – indeed, I think one Northern IrelandPastor whom he accused of being a para-military chaplain almost did so. I think Bill would be wise to shake the dust off his feet and move on. It isn’t as if he’s not got on his plate.

I’m sorry at the way things turned out Bill, but I’m not surprised – nor will many other people.

  21. Tricia says:

    Amen, Bill, Amen!!

  22. Rocky Sight & Sound says:

Hi Brother Bill, I love and the respect the man you are referring to and will be indebted to him until the Lord return, no other teacher in these day has brought so much light to the Church (in my opinion) It is increasingly evident in the teachings of many sincere men of God who were headed off track but due to this man’s  influence and teaching  now see more clearly and have corrected  or repented of previous  Doctrines/teachings, even though many of these men have not acknowledged the Man referred to or given due acknowledgment of his teachings influence on them.

I Pray for this man as often as I think of him, but must also acknowledge and agree what you have written.

Thank you  Bill for your courage and the Love you have shown in writing this letter, I also urge this man to weigh heavily what you have said and openly declare my love for him and you.

  23. Teerth says:

Where wrong doctrine is and promoted and especially about the Blood Of Our Lord & Saviour and stating it has no significance in the millennium is a major error, and many who have promoted such nonsense and endorse such a so called teacher need to repent and examine their motives.
We stand with truth and we pray For Our Brother Jacob As we Stand With Moriel. Yes we are called to correct in The Holy Spirit and In accordance to The Word Of God, But Without Allowing The Main Culprits to act as victims and sugarcoat what the real issues are. Body Of Christ Need To Wake Up

    • Dave says:

Amen! The deeper we know and love the Lord, the deeper we know and love His word, staying true to the word as illuminated by the Holy Spirit rather than standing on the side of error that will lead others into more error and confusion takes takes strength only God can give. The world takes the path of least resistance, the child and children of God take the narrow road! The children of God don’t seek out conflict, but respond with truth where deception is taking root, in order to bring light to the situation but more so to honour the Logos (Jesus). In principle, I’d rather offend a person for the sake of their eternal position and condition in Christ, than offend God. In practice, I fail God daily as I am not perfect, but I seek His will to be done while I gather up my cross again. We are all in different stages in our journey on that path and in our personal communion with Christ, some are mature and consume the strong meat, others are immature and can only cope with the milk. We need both, the milk of the word and the meat. But, we must also grasp the fact that the journey remains ahead. Iron sharpens iron, we are not all an ear or a foot or an eye. I thank God for the Ministries of these faithful servants, we the public are commenting on. But these men of God will answer to Him, they are called and equipped, they are of the God. All we should do is love them and prayerful hold them up. Loving each other involves being honest, telling the truth, in the light of His Spirit and Truth the Logos. Friendships can fall away, especially when they worldly. Relationships founded upon the Lord, His Spirit His word, His Cross and His Blood require more than the superficial we see in the world. Ultimately, the Lord Jesus is our focus. We need the truth in this Laodicean age!

  24. C. Cruz says:

I’ve watched their videos for the past couple of years and have learned so much from both of these men. What has been happening lately with those two has me exhausted and exasperated.
Can these two get together and discuss these issues instead of acting like children and posting videos on youtube??( see the latest video from David Nathan, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2TnH52Rmu0) Can these two swallow their pride get together like real christian men and really deal with those issues? Is it too much to ask?

Will keep praying for these two knuckleheads to get their act together because they are giving in to the enemy. No wonder the world see this and think christianity is a joke.

Sad and Upset in New York,

  25. Dave says:

“It takes only one false direction in a set of directions to cause someone to get lost.”

  26. Dave says:

No offence is intended this quote is not directed at our dear brother Pastor Bill or our other dear brother who is the subject of this blog! “It is so easy to think that the trained, professional and paid preacher must know best. Scripture commands us, “Examine everything carefully “ (1 Th. 5:21). Always remember, it is the Lord Jesus who said, “Watch out for false prophets…. See to it that no one deceives you.” We are sinners, equals in Christ, but we are in different stages of sanctification. We are (I pray) saved, we are being saved and we will be saved, because of our Father, because of Jesus and His precious Blood and through the convicting guiding light of the Holy Spirit, triunity, oneness through Jesus Christ alone (2nd Adam).

  27. nannette says:

Amen. I know you have a broken heart Bill. I still do. I commend you for telling this person what he needs to do. I have a friend who has not spoken to me for years. You see she led me to the Lord. She was discipling me and then one day she got very angry with me in church and with her finger shaking at me she said “I’m so angry at you!” I fled away in tears. She never said why. I repented though later to her by writing letters but she won’t receive it. I repented again for whatever it was. Having this kind of a temper is a sin. Don’t tell me you have a temper because your from Irish blood or something. Jesus never treated His saints this way. He told them to repent. If they won’t repent remember what Jesus said? Matthew 18:17. Brace yourself dear brother. God is good, He is so Awesome. He did not leave me high and dry, neither with he you, He gave me another beautiful sister to study God’s word with. I love you Lord! But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

  28. Mr. John L. Hayworth says:

Why do people feel the need to disclose the name of the person they assume that Bill is speaking to in this posting?

Seems like people have an axe to grind with Jacob Prasch. If they do, they should go to him and attempt a reconciliation with him.

Do not hold any anger or bitterness in your hearts towards anyone and, above all, cry out to the Lord for him and for yourself.

  29. will c says:

Bravo Pastor Bill! What a beautiful example for all of us. What a tender, loving, and truthful message to your dear brother. May he find the courage to heed your exhortation.

      • billrandles says:

Truthseaker Why don’t you come out of the shadows, and try to show a little Christian virtue(courage), you will find that I really am just a lovable, harmless, loving pastor who just wants peace and love amongst the brethren, alright jeremy?

  31. billrandles says:

publish your name and I will post anything you want me to on my blog

  32. truthclips says:

Greetings brothers and sisters. In light of all this, as members of the faithful remnant before the Lord’s second coming, we should look up. It should remind us that our hope is not in a man (something I believe Bill, Jacob, and David, would all agree with). When we see these internal conflicts even within the faithful remnant, I think we need to be asking why is the Lord allowing this? I believe that it’s to reveal to ourselves whether we take our stand on a man, or on The Man – Christ Jesus. Bill, David, and Jacob will be fine. How do I know? “FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES” (Hebrews 12:6). These beloved men who are the subject of this blog are just that – men. I just urge prayer for this situation, and that it not distract us from preaching the Gospel in our homes, communities, on the streets, and to the far corners of the earth – as we are commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” I’d like to also exhort us all to not let this situation trouble us and weigh us down. Remember the beautiful exhortation in 1 Peter 5:5-6: “You younger men, likewise, be subject to [your] elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, for GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time.”

Blessings in Christ Jesus – our wonderful Lord and Savior!!!!
