I have been exploring the widespread acceptance of what fairly recently would have been absolutely unacceptable. One of example of this is “Gay Pride month” and all that goes along with it; Gay Marriage, Transgender Story Hour, and the annual Bacchanalian street festivals featuring every form of perversion imaginable, but which is considered a family friendly annual event.
Children are involved in this, and no one seems to be alarmed at it. We related the story of “the Amazing Desmond” who is a ten year old “trans child” touring at gay events, taken to gay bars and is being marketed as the face of a new kind of “trans Kid”. Where is the Law? Where are the various layers of “child protection” services? What is going on?
I and many others are coming to the conclusion that this is the very “Strong Delusion” that the Apostles and Prophets of the Bible would come upon the world as a judgment sent by God. This has happened so rapidly in our formerly Judeo/Christian society, it is the only reasonable explanation I can imagine. God is Judging us as a society,
When God judges a people, He often merely “gives them over” to their sinful and destructive desires completely.
The sin that brings the Judgment is that “They had pleasure in unrighteousness”, that is, they Loved a certain Lie or a set of Lies. They didn’t want to know the truth that was presented to them, they insisted upon the lie/lies therefore God is giving them over to those lies.
Why would seemingly normal, sane and reasonable people, many with families, and children, embrace “Gay Pride” month, and involve their own children in “Transgender Story Hour” at the local library. Most of these are not necessarily homosexual or sexually perverted, why would they be in support of it? What particular unrighteousness do they take pleasure in ? What lies do they love?
- There is no Judgment… everybody is to be accepted.
- There is no good or evil…all people regardless are “good”.
- We now have a much more compassionate (non judgmental) society than ever.
- Fundamentalist Christianity is wrong with it’s insistence upon right and wrong.
- Humanity is on the very verge of a Utopia, a smarter, more compassionate, non judgmental, multicultural, world of humanism.
These are some of the lies they cherish. Very much along the demonic anthem written by John Lennon, “Imagine”, those who are perishing love that particular vision, and when the Christian revelation is presented to them in it’s stark reality, they reject it absolutely. This would present a challenge to a society in which most consider themselves Christian.
This isn’t a problem however, because there are so many churches who will accommodate the LIE, and whose ministers have already been inwardly seduced by the “god of this age” into accepting the lie.
Examples of this abound, for example, the church which took up the slack when “Transgender Story Hour” was cancelled in a small town in Ohio, because there were still enough sane people to resist it. In the name of “compassion, tolerance and diversity” a Methodist church announced that it would open its doors for it.
Another prominent example comes with the Israel Falau incident. He took a costly stand against the lie, in the name of Christ, but Brian Houston of Hillsong church, openly rebuked Falau, again in the name of compassion, betraying Falau, the gospel and denying Christ himself.
How they love the lie! They cherish the amoral, non judgmental version of “love and acceptance” which has usurped the gospel in many people’s hearts and will send them ultimately to Hell.
If they can believe in these obvious vanities, they will have no problem receiving the Mark of the Beast, which is the final and irreversible act of apostasy. They will line up to take it, and for those too squeamish, there are many pastors and theologians of all kinds, being prepared to calm people’s fears and to take the Mark, as they will demonstrate to have done.
It is hard to break free of a self serving lie, and to chose instead an unflattering truth. It is a miracle anyone will be saved. In order to be saved we must jettison our fantasies about our own innate goodness, and about the “good which is within all men” and humble ourselves to the Truth revealed by Jesus, the prophets and apostles. We are sinners, deeply fallen and incapable of saving ourselves.Only God can save us, and that, only by the cross of Jesus.
How did we come to believe this? How did we get to the point where we actually came to love this humbling message? Why do we still love it and cling to it even when Truth is temporarily being eclipsed? Only the Holy Spirit brought us to this point, where we received “the Love of the Truth”.

This was a great article.
I am old enough to recall the work of the Moral Majority in the early 1980s. Shortly thereafter the whole AIDS epidemic came into national focus. For the most part many Christians and churches railed against the practice of homosexuality, albeit not always in a Christ-like manner.
Nonetheless, after some years had passed I recall many pastors and churches, succumbing to the desire for worldly approval thus became embarrassed of the Moral Majority and the natural recoiling of Christians to the now out-in-the-open practice of homosexuality. Pastors and churches excoriated Christians for not being “compassionate” towards practicing homosexuals. Compassion, certainly, but people went so far as to begin equating those engaging in the practice of homosexuality and becoming infected with AIDS to those who were outcast lepers in Biblical day. This was a clearly false and dishonest analogy.
But these pastoral rebukes had the effect of shaming many Christians into silence and not speaking out against the practice of homosexuality. Naturally, the media and activists gladly exploited this new-found internal church shame and ultimately entirely shut down Christian opposition in the name of compassion. In the name of “compassion” (the desire for the world’s acceptance) save for the brave few, Christians stopped being salt. And now in this void evil has propagated and sin flourishes on levels even beyond the practice of homosexuality. I am still greatly troubled by watching the church get scolded by pastors into silence and seeing the church completely lose its courage. Where are the brave Joshuas of our day boldly railing against all sin?

I would love to know what small town in Ohio banned the transgender story hour? I live in a beautiful small town in Ohio, just 21 miles north of Dayton. I praise God that my two grandchildren go to a school that stills puts the nativity scene and mentions the name of Jesus on the school flyers. The deluded crowd definitely put light for darkness and darkness for light. While I do agree they are deluded, I also see that many “Christians” are deluded as well. They are the “sign seekers” and believe that the Holy Spirit knocks them over and glues them to floor. That they are under the anointing when they shake like a epileptic fit, crawl around on all fours like a dog, etc. Now Bethel Redding church in CA are teaching all new young converts the “craft”. How incredibly sad. It really is unbelievable to see so called Christians and secular people all deceived. And when you are deceived you do not know it, pretty scary!!

You and I know who is behind it all and perhaps it is not expedient for you to make a direct statement.. Allow me to say that it is the judeo part of your article that is the cause. You should consider passing on some of the information I have shared with you.
As for me I am not ashamed of the gospel and will let the whole world know who my Lord and King is.

I am a great believer in your constitution, an in particular your 14th ammendment. “No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws”. It talks to the principles of equality that were carried forward in the post war Breton Woods agreements and in paricualar the Universal declaration of human rights, proposed in principal by the wonderful Eleanor Rooselvelt and copied the world over as a cornerstone of every developed democratic nations democracy. It means we don’t descriminate on the basis of protected charecteristics, such as age, gender, religous belief and of course sexual orientation. My point is equality is univeral and its a dfficult argument to standup for your own minorities protection whilst simultaneously persecuting anothers. Can we also not discuss the usual soft targets of gays and muslims and perhaps discuss more contempoary controversies such as gender equality or is this again pointing out a rather uncomfortable truth.
