My greatest and most desirous plea; Oh Lord, keep us ever close to Thee. Let not the things and traps of this world with it’s wickedness & sin, ensnare us to take our heart away from Thee, I cry Oh Lord, let your Spirit brace us and keep us humbly in Thee … that we shall have a tender God conscience heart, eschewing all evil with it’s temptation, surrendering, clinging …. totally to Thee.

Thank you my sister Christina Givens – DeLaGarza for inspiring me.
So beautiful my dear…
Yes! Help us to remain humble, tender-hearted, and true. Keep us from evil and temptation. This is our plea too. — With love and gratefulness for your precious ministry—Greg and Diana Lesperance
Amen!! Beautiful plea! How we all need humility….
May we remain “on guard” so that our hearts will not be weighted-down by the temporary cares and pleasures of this world. May we have the strength to stand firm “in Jesus” and escape the things that are about to take place… Maranatha!!!
Yes please help us Lord! Deemar lately I go between praising the Lord and being almost overwhelmed by temporary cares in the way of physical infirmities, although with these it is easier to keep my eyes on the Lord than struggling with pleasures. Thanks for the reminder of Luke 21!
Amen.
And then Deemar said:
How easy it is, by careless negligence, to allow the fruit of our lives to be choked by those cares and pleasures.
Especially those of us within the western “civilisation”.
Too often we excuse our embracing of those pleasures by referring to them as blessings from God – when in reality they are word-choking weeds and thorns.
A recent situation has led my wife and I to reassess our own situation and we have been challenged by the extent to which our lives over many years have gradually become entangled by an accumulation of “stuff”, and we are working our way through a process of “down-sizing” and decluttering.
Thank you Lord for the wake-up call.
Thank u so much for this. Blessings in Christ Dear Ones!. Maybe even today the LORD could call us home. Maranatha! In Christ Mellany
Amen. This is beautiful!!
