About Pastor Bill Randles

I am the Pastor of Believers in Grace Fellowship which we pioneered and have served at since 1982. Believers in Grace is a non denominational Pentecostal church in Marion, Iowa. My wife and I started this church in our living room.

We are blessed with six awesome children, 2 daughters and 4 sons . My daughters are married and have given us, 15 grand children.

God has allowed us to travel throughout the globe, preaching and teaching the Gospel in Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Scotland, South Africa, Russia, China, Philipines, Thailand, India, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe, as well as here in the United States.

I have written ten books, three of which are critiques of certain heretical trends within Pentecostalism. MAKING WAR IN THE HEAVENLIES which addresses the spiritual warfare error which emerged in the late eighties and early nineties. WEIGHED AND FOUND WANTING puts the so called Toronto blessing in its true context, as a development of the Manifested Sons of God heresy, once denounced by the Assemblies of God, but now embraced. BEWARE THE NEW PROPHETS takes on the prophetic movement of Rick Joyner, Mike Bickle, Bob Jones, and Kim Clement among others. My next book, MENDING THE NETS is a commentary on the First Epistle of John.

I have since written a commentary on Zechariah, called GOD REMEMBERS, as well as one on John chapter three, called BORN FROM ABOVE. I wrote a book on Bible Prophecy called A SWORD ON THE LAND; THE MUSLIM WORLD IN BIBLE PROPHECY and a commentary on Genesis 1-11, called CREATION, FALL AND THE HOPE OF REDEMPTION. And my most recent book is called WAR AGAINST THE SAINTS written in 2019.

Our church has a website which features articles, teachings, audio and video, most of our sermons at : http://www.believersingrace.com

Hello Pastor Bill. Thank you for your sermons, blogs, radio spots. I first heard you on Jan Markell’s show speaking about the word faith heresy and Todd Bentley. That show was such a blessing for many of us here in western PA where these new prophets have infiltrated most of our once Bible believing churches. Thank you for your books and CDs and your website. I’m sharing your sermons with all those who still love the Truth. Your ministry is reaching many here. I pray for you daily. May God continue to richly bless you and continue to grant you boldness as you speak the truth in love.

Pastor Bill, I just reorganized my blog at http://blog.biblethumper.org . I noticed that there are some useful WordPress plugins that you could install to make your blog look better, such as RefTagger which pops up Bible verses when you simply quote the verse – I’ll show you how when I see you later.

  6. you can embed blogspot on to a website using java script and css code.

You can embed whole websites even.

  7. Gina Nestor says:

Was praying this morning in the Spirit and was suddenly impressed to lift you up before the Lord that He grant you all boldness as you preach the truth in love – grace seasoned with salt – and that the Lord would protect you, your family and your church.

  8. Happy New Year Bill

Did you get my study on the Mechanics of the Godhead it has been finished please feel free to take a look.

  9. audra says:

i just wanted to say that you have been a blessing in my family and in my life and want to thank you for all that i learned from you and your church.

  10. Hi Bill

I hope you are well, feel free to call me if your in the UK at time.

I found some code you can add to any blog site any bible verse you type will on a mouse roll over it will add a popup box with scripture automatically this is free at no cost you can add it to any web page Moriel uses this also.

    http://reftagger.com/#download

RefTagger supports all of the Bible book names and their standard abbreviations. It will recognize and tag books with only one chapter whether you cite them with or without the chapter number (e.g., Jude 9 or Jude 1:9).

It also handles multiple verses in a row (e.g., John 3:16-18, 22; 4:2-4), portions of verses (e.g., Ps. 1:1a; 1 Cor. 15:28c), and verses through the use of the f or ff abbreviations (e.g., Gen 3:15f; Job 2:1ff), and recognizes many other common abbreviations and formats (e.g., Lk 2:1; cf. 4:4; Gal 3:3; cf. vv. 8-10; Eph 3:1 and 4:2). Whether you use a hyphen (-) or an en dash (–), RefTagger will correctly recognize and tag your Bible references (e.g., Rom 5:1-10; Eph 2:8–9).

  11. England:

Don’t be ‘April-fooled’ by Todd Bentley.

On the day that Australia is about to be hit by the huge and destructive Cyclone Yasi comes news of an equally spiritually damaging destructive force about to be unleashed upon England in April 2011. On his ‘twitter’ page Todd Bentley has posted the following –

Just Confirmed. England is on For April about 14 hours ago via Twitterrific

Excited about Our Return to England and the Uk this April. Hope we can connect with all Europeans friends and partners. about 13 hours ago via Twitterrific

This is truly horrific news for the cause of Christ in England as this totally discredited charlatan revels in the news of coming to England – something he actually had to cancel back in 2008/9 when he committed adultery and subsequently divorced his wife – in the midst of a supposed so-called Holy Ghost Revival in Florida!
To arm yourself to be able to warn others about this ungodly deceiver I will now list various articles written at the time of the goings-on in Florida and just after, and my prayer is that the Lord will reign supreme and graciously and mercifully prevent any repetition of the dishonour brought in the past to His name by Todd Bentley.

  12. David Foote says:

I have read with interest some of your messages/comments on FreeRepublic. It then came as no surprise to me that one young man under your ministry took a courageous stand and would not wrestle that girl. As a pastor of a small Baptist church and one who wrestled for 3 years while in high school, I probably have a good idea of what all went into his choice…I greatly applaud it and congratulate you for having such a good influence in his life.

  13. Mike says:

Esau/Edomites flooded into what is now Jerusalem (along with Canaanites and others) while Judah (tribes of Judah & Benjamin) was in Babylonian captivity. When the Israelite-Judahites returned from Babylon (only about 40,000) along with many Babylonians, many of them intermarried with Edomites,Canaanites & Babylonians and these are what became Talmudic-Phariseeism. When Jesus came on the scene he had to confront this kabaal of God haters……..Today they are known as Sephardic Jews. They are not Arab.

  14. Jackie says:

When I read “Why We Can Rejoice”, to a certain point, I agreed with your article concerning the idea we should celebrate that a cause of evil had been extinguished. But then when you said we are an evil nation and that you are surprised we aren’t punished with a 9/11 everyday, etc. and that in essence we deserved 9/11 and were being punished, you lost me. That type of thinking is, to the same the least, sad.

  15. Jackie says:

We are a fallen people, but to cast all in sin for the sins of others, now, in this time, and not those individuals, sounds similar to collective salvation. I think of Pastor Hagee and his statement that when he answers to God he will answer for himself, not the United States. We answer for our individual sins when we meet our maker.

  16. kt says:

I’d like to get your perspective on the route this country is taking with Gay marriage, the Casey Anthony verdict and Obama’s attempt to save convicted murderer/rapist Humberto Leal Garcia from execution. What can we do to save our country? We really need a revival!

  17. I’m much a mute reader, however this put up compelled me to data that unique alone of the proper posts I posit unravel.

Pastor Randles – I am sure you are aware of this news…(The AFA and Brannon Howse issue) but I would like to send you a couple of links and see if you are aware of any connections between the NAR/Domionist movement and the meeting of Theosophists with evangelical leaders in the 90’s as Constance Cumbey’s research has revealed…..Please see links below.

    1. “This radio network is upset with Brannon for speaking against the Religious Right and Evangelical leaders that have united with participants of the New Apostolic Reformation and the Word of Faith in Perry’s prayer event and in several other Christian conferences and projects.”

PASTOR BILL I PRAY YOU STAY IN THE LORD AND NOT DERAIL FOR EGO, AS WE ALL KNOW THAT THERE IS NO PERFECT BEING ON EARTH WE ALL NEED FORGINESS. WE CANNOT FIGHT FOR GOD, OUR THINKING ABOUT GOD MAY BE WRONG, HE CHOOSES WHO HE WANT TO CHOOSE AND NO ONE CAN QUESTION HIM, HE CAN USE A PROSTITUDE TO SAVE A NATION. ANY ONE WHO IS NOT UPRIGHT WILL ANSWER FOR GOD. WE SHOULD BE CAREFUL HOW WE CRITISES OUR FELLOW PASTORS IN THE CHRSTAIN FOLD, HENCE THIS SITE IS VIEWD BY CHRISTAIN AND NONE CHRISTIAN WHO NEED ENCOURAGEMENT BY PEOPLE LIKE YOU . IF YOU HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED BY GOD’S POWER, YOU ARE TO BUILD NOT TO DESTROY.., THANKS AND REMAIN IN FAITH.

  21. Wayne says:

You are very much appreciated for the excellent work you are doing Pastor Bill.
There is far too much at stake here for you to go pussy footing around with the truth. Many people are going to hell falsely believing they are saved when they have really only allowed the doctrines of demons and seducing spirits the Bible warns us all about to seduce them into deception and apostasy. Genuine bible believing christians desperately need somebody prepared to speak the truth of HIS WORD fearlessly and with conviction. The wholesale apostasy running rampant throughout much of what might previously have been considered christianity requires that you also “name and shame” the imposters.

    • Adria says:

“Many people are going to hell…” Wow. I thought that God was the judge. Also, I’m struggling to find Biblical support for “naming and shaming” fellow Christians who might be on a diverted path. Aren’t we supposed to build up one another in love? Aren’t our confrontations to be restorative?

      • billrandles says:

Adria, thanks for writing me. When I warn that many are going to hell, I am merely echoing the Saviour, who warned us that “Borad is the road that leads to destruction and many there be which are on it…” . As for “Naming” people, should a shepherd not warn the flock?

  22. Adrian Graham says:

Hi Bill, just wanted to say Hi from New Zealand and send our blessings and greetings for the new year. My wife Irene and I very much enjoyed your time of ministry in Palmerston North when you were out here and we have been fed with some great teaching from the series on Ephesians that a friend of ours gave us to listen to.
We pray for you and want to encourage you in your future ministry to get the Word out there more and more so that the true church will be fed and the believers that are in fellowships where they are starving will be encouraged and uplifted and fed with the “meat” of the Word.
As for me and my family, you are more than welcome to come back to NZ any time you can and hopefully spend some time with us.
    Blessings in Jesus’ name,
    Adrian Graham

Hi, just found your site from a lady on a website I was on. Imagine my surprise when I found out you were in Iowa…LOL Sadly still to far for me to come to church though. I am in the Waterloo area, so that would be to far of a drive for this ole gal. Just browsing through your site, and so far so good. Do you know anyone in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area, that has good pure teaching? I have looked and so far, nothing but New Age or Word of faith type Churches. It’s a sad area! Thanks and I will keep looking at your page here. In his service, Sue

    • suez62 says:

P.S. I would love just some regular good Bible based fellowship with other woman or married couples, from my area also.. I just love to have dinner and talking about Jesus his word and what is going on in the world. Also if anyone even knows of a Home Church (church in a home)…around here, that would be fine also!!! I have been looking for so very long. thanks

    • billrandles says:

Sue, come on down and see us, “the church thats alive is well worth the drive!”

  101. suez62 says:

Yes, that would be nice. But, it is a double long drive, when you aren’t healthy…:( Plus gas is so expensive. Do you know anyone in my area? Thanks, for your response!

I have been following Lighthouse Trails for a number of years and found a link to your post ‘The spirit behind anti-semitism” (http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch.com/newsletters/2014/newsletter20140811.htm.)
Your statement: “…Behind all of these incidents was the Serpent seeking to devour the seed! Thus, as we will elaborate in our next article, Anti-Semitism is Satanic!” has been confirmed to me some time ago, after reading the invetigations into Anti-Semitism carried out by a Jewish lady (Hannah Newman) over a time period of three years, resulting in 179 pages of detailed material of her discoveries, linking Jew-hatred to the Occult!!!! This hatred was channelled by various sprits to Helen Blavatsky in the 1870’s and led her to establish the Theosphical Society, then Ann Besant, Alice Bailey and now Barbara Marx Hubbard and many others, whose channelling spirits are quoted in their writings, describing the “the Externalisation of the Hierarchy”, the reason why the Jews (and lately those Christians who continue to believe “in separateness” (come out of her, My people) need to be exterminated!!! Why? Because they hinder the move to spiritual Oneness, the New Agers, Emergent Church et al are promoting and their perceived need to have peace on earth through a One-World Government, a One-World Economy and a One-World Religion.

What a fraud, a charlatan … “You are healed” is what you taught the young woman with a hereditary disease some years ago. Healed from a hereditary disease that — left untreated — ultimately caused her to have a fucking stroke. Yeah, I said it — FUCKING STROKE. If you had a real conscience, you’d hang up the pastoring nonsense and really go to work for people in a role that might grant you some penance.

    • billrandles says:

Hey Waldo, why don’t you step out of the shadows and tell me who you are. I tried to re write you on e-mail and it as returned to sender. Quit being a coward and tell me who you are and who you are speaking of!

  106. Christmas Angel 2015 says:

Your blog is so utterly predictable with its “hurry-up-and-bring-on-the-end-times” jazz. It sounds like an Old Testament version of Fox News. At the top of the page (in small small print) it says “Applying the Gospel to Life.” That’s false advertising, to say the least.

The Categories listed on the right side of the page clearly spell out your priorities — and THEY ARE NOT CHRISTIAN PRIORITIES. Where are the words like “love,” “peace,” “forgive,” “forgiveness,” “loving God,” “hope,” “poverty,” “inequality,” “justice,” “compassion,” “resurrection,” “sacrifice,” “fear not” (a phrase commonly used by Jesus, “goodness,” “sharing,” “caring,” “teaching,” “unity,” “everyone,” “walk,” “prayer,” “good example,” “Father,” “kingdom (of God)” “New Testament,” “struggle,” “Beatitudes,” “other cheek,” “community,” “community,” “cooperation,” “understanding,” “truth,” and “light of the world”? For example, that is. Think about it, followers fo Mr. Randles? Why do his writing priorities center on fear, death, destruction, the end of the world, hopelessness, and despair?

How about something re: this message from Jesus — the only one contained in all four of the Gospels: Love your life, you’ll lose; hate your life, you’ll keep it. (Matthew 10:39, 16:25; Mark 8:35; Luke 9:24, 17:33; John 12:25).

Where is the love? You’re so wrapped up in telling everyone how horrible things are becoming without regard for the fact that the “end times” have been boldly and blindly predicted by people like you for hundreds of years. They have been wrong, wrong, and even more wrong: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dates_predicted_for_apocalyptic_events

Your blog’s Categories focus on terrorism, violence, war, hatred, hell, religions other than the brand you espouse for your followers, Armegeddon (your incorrect spelling), depravity, glenn beck (that old hawker of gold ingots and the only modern-day individual given a category),

On Nov. 14, 2015, you cited a UK newspaper, The Telegraph, which rightly said: “The brutality of this attack shows that we are not dealing with an enemy that can be negotiated with, only confronted and beaten.” Then you immediately followed that with your own words: “Except, of course, they are talking about the Paris attacks – they do not care at all about the killing of Jews in Israel, which is why you will never hear any such statement when terrorists attack Israel as they are doing now on a daily basis…” That is such nonsense.

The Telegraph alone has been a leader in presenting detailed and regular news about what’s going on in Israel. For example, there’s this from 13 October 2015: Israel: Three killed in Palestinian ‘Day of Rage’ attacks
Separate stabbing and shooting attacks hit Jerusalem as Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu calls emergency security meeting

Your frequently have incredibly hostile words for President Barack Obama in your blog. I’m sure, Mr. Randles, your loyal followers would be interested in reading your particularly heinous words in a post you wrote for “the blog of lighthouse trails research” on September 23, 2015, regarding the president’s visit with Pope Francis in the U.S. To quote you:

“Obama, the president of the United States and one of the Gentile kings of the earth, is the most hostile president to the state of Israel we have ever seen in the USA. He is a consistent supporter of Islam, having empowered ISIS, and disrupted the entire Middle East, turning it over to Muslim Brotherhood operatives, not to mention his unprecedented support for the Shia Iranian regime, an inveterate foe of the USA (the great Satan) and Israel (the little Satan), which it vows to wipe off the face of the earth.”

Empowered ISIS? You mean the president who’s led a coalition air campaign since last year against ISIL? The one who has helped supply and protect Kurdish fighters against ISIL? The one who has continued to train and supply the struggling Iraqi government as they fight to hold their own following the agreement (signed with the Bush-Cheney administration, by the way) for U.S. ground troops to exit the country)? The one who has led the ongoing humanitarian efforts to protect the Yazidis? Etc., etc., and so forth. Meanwhile, the Obama-Clinton detractors’ alternative policy has consisted of “uhhhhhhhh … Seriously, they offer nothing on the campaign trail or in Congress that would augment or even supplement what the Obama administration has done.

Empowered ISIS? HOW ABOUT LED THE WAY FOR THE CREATION OF ISIS? Why do you and your rapidly aging Fox News aficionados so conveniently forget how that terror group — and now an illegitimate state in Iraq and Syria — was formed as a direct result of the decision to invade Iraq and, at the same time, remove resources from the war against al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.?

Your line, Mr. Randles, about President Obama providing “unprecedented support for the Shia Iranian regime” is nonsensical. It’s a farce, and you know it. Like your pals in the radical faction now leading the Republican Party in the U.S., you have NOTHING good to say about a president who has done so much with so little support from what we once called the “loyal opposition” in this country. In fact, the opposition wrote a letter to Iranian leaders earlier this year telling them (in the utmost example of treason you’ll see these days) that the U.S. Congress and any future president would be under no obligation to abide by a non-proliferation treaty. So there. Unprecedented and most horrible opposition since the first Inauguration Day.

Empowered ISIS? “ISIS got started through funding from our friends and allies. Because as people will tell you in the region that if you want somebody who will fight to the death against Hezbollah, you don’t put out a recruiting poster saying, ‘sign up for us. We’re gonna make a better world.’ You go after zealots and you go after these religious fundamentalists. That’s who fights Hezbollah. It’s like a Frankenstein.” ~Gen. Wesley Clark, ormer Supreme Allied commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) during the war against Yugoslavia

Stop acting like you know so much — and know so much better than your followers. They deserve better. They deserve the loving and comforting words of Jesus from a teacher who focuses on their lives in the here and now. Why focus so heavily on the perceived evils when you can teach people how to lead by example? For instance, that is. Think it over.

I follow Jesus Christ and I listen to what Bill and others who offer what they have gotten from doing what 2 Tim 2: 15 says and the go in to study and examine whatever anyone has to share from their study if he scriptures

IF you ARE an attendee of his church why didn’t you speak to Bill face to face with your issues?
That seems to be the way scripture instructs believers to deal among themselves …it’s called pepper protocol according to the scripture of the New Testament Church

I suspect you expect Bill to spoon feed those who hear him, which is not according to the Word in terms of EACH member of the. body of Christ to examine all things by the Word of God as guided by the HOLY SPIRIT

A Pastor is a leader under Christ and is accountable to the Lord and I think anyone who hears a teacher, is also accountable to study what is being put forth

There are plenty of churches where people are expecting to be “fed” by the church or pastor as if they cannot read the WORD …as the Lord exhorts all to put on the whole armor of God and to take the Word of Reconcilation to others which is what all Christians are ordained to do having the ministry of Reconcilation with the word of Reconcilation aka the Word of God.

The Lord is shepherd…He is my Lord…and the Holy Spirit is here to guide us into all truth
Why does everyone in the recent years want scapegoat for why they don’t feel good in every circumstance! Who IS our comfort? Jesus Christ…in every in every circumstance

Frankly I find Bills teaching refeashingly honest and his attitude also not arrogant that he makes any demand of his own personal position but of scriptures call for sinners to wake up and repent and become aware of the need to put on the whole armor of God.

It seems that it serves the enemy of Christ well to massage the believer or wanna be Christian to “pay not attention to that demonic stuff behind the curtain” a la the infamous wizard of Oz

If you are not feeling comforted I suggest you delve deeper into your own desire for someone Else to be responsible for your needs rather than finding your comfort in
Christ and as you take your own place in the body to do all things heartily as unto the Lord

The Word speaks of the believers need to grow up and be “discipled” by Jesus by “continuing in ” His word….desire the sincere milk of the Word ..eating daily the bread that came down from heaven…but sooner or later put away childish things and go into the meat of the Word which includes some things difficult yet are only made more difficult by those who desire to “wrest” scripture to suit their own idea of what is “appropriate ”

Some things in scripture are hard to hear but are truth just the same

Rise up oh men of God have done with lesser things

Contending for the faith is only done by way of knowing the Truth and walking in it
Comfort is found daily in YOUR own relation with Christ and reading of the Word in your private daily time with the Lord who will sustain us in every eventuality IF we are
willing to read and heed and walk in what He DOES tell us

As for me I have spent years in fellowships where you can find a lot of comfort but little actual truth of the doctrine of scripture….many are fainting waiting to be fed while having the banquet of the Word on their night stand

He has prepared a table for me in the presence of mine enemies…so there is no lack of comfort or teaching of the scripture from He who IS the Way the. truth and the life….no need for lack of knowledge if we are willing to seek and persue

Those who come to God must believe that He IS and that He is a rewarded of those that diligently seek Him

I aprpreciate what Bill offers and find many study “assignments” from hearing what he has brought for me to search out

Thanks bill for your time and effort to share what the Spirit of God has worked in you by way of your study and trusting in Him

  108. zaza says:

Ooops ….I texted that from my iphone and auto correct changed “proper’ to “pepper”

All things done decently and in order in the Church.

Bill your teachings are filled with the love of God and His Word….continue daily my brother …and as for “Christmas Angel’ may the Lord work in his /her life to instruct as He will if they are meek to obey the command to read and heed what the Lord has provided for all who are WILLING to receive the Word of God with meekness and continue along being chasten betimes but matured in the knowledge of the Truth.

    His .

  109. I am curious to know, as you market yourself to be a “Pentecostal’ minister; and have much information concerning others who claim to operate according to scriptural teachings, concerning the baptism of the Holy Spirit, What do you believe regarding the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? Is this a separate baptism than the one we submit to when we come to Christ for a cleansing of our sin nature? Is there another baptism that it still required today in order to be equipped to do the work that JESUS calls one to do? Or do you believe it is received when we come to Christ and are baptized in water according to HIS command that we be baptized both in water and the Holy Spirit? I recognize some of the names of the people you target as False brethren with evil spirits operating as Angels of Light. Since I have not had contact with them and sat in their presence, hearing their testimonies it gives me cause to feel suspicious in making a judgment that they are indeed NOT spirit filled and operation in the spirit of Christ. If they are indeed guilty of the things suggested in your information, I would agree it is blatant blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.

According to AA World Services, about 40% of all AA members who have already been sober for less than a year will remain both sober and active in AA another year; 60 percent of this group will either lose sobriety or stop participating in AA during the next year, or both. About 80% of those participants who have been sober between one and five years will remain both sober and active in the fellowship another year. About 90% of the members who have been sober five years or more will remain both sober and active in the fellowship another year. These figures have been repeated within a few percentage points using the same calculations since 1974.[28]

Pastor Randles, can Settings Captive Free boast anything like these statistics, even adjusting for their relatively scant membership as compared with that of AA? Somehow, I doubt it. Psalms Chapter 2
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

  121. Bill, you believe in a Pre-trib rapture?

  122. Tracy says:

Hi Bill- My husband and I listen to you often and test your teachings with scripture. So far it is biblical. Thankfully. There are very few biblically sound teachers. I’m hoping you may be able to answer my question regarding a small group home church or study we attend. Firstly a young woman asked Jesus into her life last March and continues to attend this group and a biblestudy with a couple of older women in the group. This young woman has lived with her boyfriend before becoming Christian and now as christian. Instead of leaving she prays for him to be saved?!? The ” seasoned” Christians in this group make excuses for her. In scripture Jesus, Paul, Peter, James, John, etc..talks about sexual immorality and to flee from it. We are not to fellowship with them. Am I wrong to bring forward that she must leave boyfriend and or leave group if shes chooses not to? I brought forward to one woman in group and she said she needs to pray. It is scriptual to have this person leave if she doesn’t change her way. Please let me know if I am in the wrong. Why have these Christians not asked her to leave as she is aware this is sin and appearance of sin ? We may not attend any longer as it is hypocrisy. It is ok for one and not another. If possible please let me know your thoughts.

    • billrandles says:

Hello Tracy, I am so glad you and your husband have found the teachings helpful. As for th young woman, you are right. Someone in love must approach her with I Corinthians 5 and explain to her that it is a denial of Christ for her to continue to live as though married with her boyfriend. Tell her that it is wrong and that if she will trust God(And remove herself from the sinful situation) He will bless her. This is a terrible witness for the whole group, and I would hope there would be agreement with scripture on this. Be patient and explain it, but call on her to choose God or to continue in sin. If the fellowship doesn’t see this, I wouldn’t remain in the fellowship, as scripture is plain. Be prayerful about it sister.

      • Greg Logan says:

How about letting God speak to her by His spirit – rather than some humanistic exegetical model being imposed on her?? Call her to be willing to Him – to be where He wants her to be – with ALL of her heart….???

The SPIRIT – will lead into all truth.

      • Tracy says:

Thank you Bill for your wisdom. We are going to follow through as you spoke in your mesaage. We are in prayer as if this group is not in agreement; we will not remain in fellowship. This was the last of biblical teaching and fellowship in our town. We do find your teachings very helpful and are listening to your daniel study at this time. We find your teaching helps us better understand the chapters. We r grateful to have this available online.

  123. billrandles says:

Tracy are. You sure the fellowship doesn’t agree? If there is any way to preserve fellowship it would be worth it. Have you shared your concern adequately ?if there is anything I can do or share with anyone, let me know. Of course we cannot give on the issue of unrepentant fornication in the church

    • Tracy says:

I had spoke to one person about this aside from my husband. This person said she must be in prayer about this young woman’s circumstance and the church. Two women in the group had made excuses for her. She is fighting an illness and does not drive, etc. . I sometimes lack love when I am speaking about matters that are not in line with God’s word.
We have a retired pastor as the leader of the group. He has explained to her why she is not to partake in communion. It seems since this is a small group 12. and most of us came out of error, the group doesn’t want to cause a rift. there is truly not a solid church left. most have been infected with the NAR Bill Johnson, new age, and or Rick Warren. I may talk to our retired pastor and see if he would speak to her.

      • Tracy says:

Also, this young woman has said to others that she sleeps in a separate room. scripture also says to avoid even the appearance of sin.

  124. billrandles says:

That would be great, if at all possible, stick with a church that has the truth. The fact that this young woman was denied communion is hopeful. Bring it to the leaders and see what they will do… praying, pas bill

  125. Tracy says:

My concern is that we are sleeping as a group if we had let this go on for as long as it has. my prayer over the past year has been for the Lord to open my eyes to truth. For both my husband and I. This has bothered me for months. the past couple of weeks I had been in scripture 1 Corinthians, timothy, thessalonians, ephesians, Jude, and reading specifically about sexual immorality. it is as clear as rain we r not to remain in fellowship. Too be honest no one wants to rock the boat.

  126. billrandles says:

I am just saying make sure you did everything you could to get the leadership to do it right. I agree, I wouldn’t stay in a fellowship that allowed fornication. The appearance of evil is important also

After I sent my email to you, the scripture John 8:12( the contact us page) was right in the middle of my screen. I believe my husband I did the right the right thing. This gave me peace and hope.

    • Björk Atkins says:

Hi Tracy, just been reading your concerns and wanted to say, Well done for standing up for the truth and not be a people pleaser. It not easy but being right with the Lord is the most important thing. Me and my husband have had to deal with similar situations. God bless you! We have been very blessed by Pastor Bills teaching, even though we live in Iceland and have never met him.

      • Tracy says:

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately we had to leave the group. Thisnwas not going to change. The truth set us free. we thank the Lord for giving us wisdom in this area. We listen to Pastor Bill as well. There are not many bible teaching churches remaining obedient to the Lord. Blessings from Canada!

      • Björk Atkins says:

Sounds like you are in a very similar situation to us. It is very hard to find people to fellowship with that put Gods word first in everything. We would love to be in contact with you. If you want to talk more you can email me at: bjorkst@hotmail.com.

Good morning Bill. My family and I are from South Africa and watch the BIG posts on YouTube every evening to gain a deeper understanding of the Word. In reading Exodus this morning, I’d like to know the meaning of the wave offering and the heave offering. I look forward to your insight and revelation from our Lord.

    • billrandles says:

Good to hear from you Deryn. South Africa has a special place in my heart, so please greet your family for me. Both the Heave and the wave offering are pieces of meat which are offered to the LORd but are the food for the Priests and their families. Thus the one is Heaved, “Lifted up” before the LORD at the Altar to acknowledge that it is the LORD’s, but then consumed by the Priests,

And this is thine, the heave-offering of their gifts, with all the wave-offerings of the children of Israel. I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons, and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it.” (Num. 18:11.)

The Heave offering was the shoulder, and it signified a part of the entire offering ( the shoulder being our strength, that which bears burdens), whereas the wave offering indicated entire consecration of all of the offering to the LORD, but then given to Priests.

Levites themselves were offered to the LORD in entirety, as living sacrifices, thus Aaron “waved them” before the LORD,
And Aaron shall wave the Levites before the Lord for a wave-offering of the children of Israel that they may execute the service of the Lord.” (Num. 8:11, 13, 15-21)

The difference between Wave and Heave is the difference between parts and the whole of a sacrifice. I hope this helps

Firstly, thank you for getting back to me and secondly, it helps a great deal. It means much to me to grasp, understand and take in the depth of the Word. Thank you.

God lead me to your Youtube teaching, which i found good. I listened a lot to Pastor Stephen Armstrong of Verse by Verse Ministries untill his death earlier on this year. I am very much influenced by his teaching and to be honest you are very good, knowledgeable and thorough in your teaching. God richly bless you.

  131. Verina Engelbrecht says:

Hi Pastor Bill, I am already receiving your blog via emails. I have read several of your books and i found every read to be helpful and encouraging, especially during a season where we felt confused with certain teachings within a church.
However, I recently self published a book, it is basically just my testimony about the strength of God, I lost my younger son last year, and I would very much like you to read it.
Is there an email that I can use?
I am not on Facebook etc.
    Thank you for your writings.
    Yours sincerely
    Verina Engelbrecht (South Africa)
