The Occult ; Last Days Sins… Occult part 3

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:  Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. (Revelation 9:20-21)

The final days of man on earth will be marked by a stiff resolve to not let go of any of the heinous sins he has cherished, not even in the face of withering judgments from the almighty!

We are told what those sins are, which have brought such judgments on the earth, and also that in absolute unrepentant stubbornness. most men will cling to them as a drowning man clings to a plank.

Sins of the Occult, the very ones warned of in Deuteronomy 18 stand out among the grisly list. They will not repent of worshipping devils, nor of the worship of idols, nor of their sorceries.

Who worships devils in our modern world? Obviously Muslims worship Allah, (the Devil Himself), that would be more than one out of seven people in the world. Another seventh of the World worships at Hindu Altars, those ‘gods” are demonic beings.

But the Judeo Christian West was immune to most of that for the most part, until the cultural revolution of the sixties (which was an AntiChristian movement) brought spiritual influences from the East to Western people. Yoga, (which means “yoked” , as to Hindu Gods) has sprouted up everywhere, even in churches, inducing the demonic elements of Hinduism in the guise of a health program.

Statues of the Bhudda now grace modern living rooms, Gardens and public parks and restaurants. Terms such as transcendental meditation, Karma, Zen and Nirvana have infiltrated the language and become commonplace ( the subversion of language is a powerful tool of infiltration into a culture).

Very few people realize that this is demonism, and ultimately leads to demon worship, an is one of the reasons why the Most High God was adamantly against Israel allowing even a trace of it into her culture. The end times will be marked by unrepentant demon worship.

I was stunned to find an advertisement in a toy catalogue for a pink Ouija board. This instrument of Divination was designed for 8-10 year old girls. The wildly popular Harry Potter series are virtual occult primers, thus we now have a generation of children who have come of Age completely prepared for the final repudiation of God in the last days.

Sorcery is now popular as well. The Greek Word for Sorcery, in Galatians 5 and Revelation 9:21 is Pharmekia, the use of mind altering drugs for enchantment or escape.

STRONGS NT 5331: φαρμακεία

φαρμακεία (WH κια, so T (except in Galatians 5:20; cf. the Proleg., p. 88); see Iota), φαρμακείας, ἡ (φαρμακεύω); 

a. the use or the administering of drugs (Xenophon, mem. 4, 2, 17). 

b. poisoning (Plato, Polybius, others): Revelation 9:21 (here WH text Tr marginal reading φαρμακῶν; many interpretations refer the passage to the next entry). 

c. sorcery, magical arts, often found in connection with idolatry and fostered by it: Galatians 5:20 (where see Lightfoot) (Wis. 12:4 Wis. 18:13; for כְּשָׁפִים, Isaiah 47:9; for לָטִים, Exodus 7:22; Exodus 8:18; for לְהָטִים, Exodus 7:11); tropically, of the deceptions and seductions of idolatry, Revelation 18:23.

Please note that there are legitimate uses for medicinal drugs, which I do not believe the Word of God condemns. But with the legalization of Marijuana in States across America, it seems apparent that we are deeply entrenched in a Sorcerers World of escape, and perhaps manipulation through the rampant and promiscuous use of drugs here. This is one of the Last days sins they will never repent of , even to their own damnation.
